The Race of the Classics is the largest and most prominent student sailing event in Europe. During the so-called “Rees” teams of different Universities and Colleges from the Netherlands sail a race using classic sailing ships. The teams will start with a “showstart” from Rotterdam Veerhaven, then sail towards the coast of England, and eventually finish in Amsterdam again.

The 30th edition of the Race of the Classics will take place from 2 to 8 April 2018
